A friend told me to check out this great Mexican restaurant. I’ve driven by where she said it was many times and have never seen it! It’s almost directly across from the Post Office on East Battles Rd, she said. So, yesterday I drove by it again and almost missed it. It’s in a smaller building across a large vacant lot. If you know it’s there, you’ll find it. The server was very outgoing, the menu was extensive, and the server made a recommendation based on what I described. The food was excellent, a mole/chicken platter with rice and beans. Yes, it is an excellent Mexican restaurant. Look at the pictures here to see where it is.

I love the food and there so kind whether ordering in drive thru or eating in. I got the Chile Verde burrito! Hit the spot! Yum!

Caldo de Rez is my favorite. I like the drive through, it makes it easy to order and still be in your pj’s for the comfort food. They can’t help the atmosphere. It’s in Santa Maria but all the best places to eat are in sketchy areas.

It's a small Mexican restaurant. It's so good and everyone there is friendly!

Authentic, simple, no frills Mexican diner. Inexpensive, good quality tortas, sopes, tacos, etc and Mexican breakfast, which is great any time of day

Thank you for not changing your recipe. Other restaurants are putting flour to make there sauces stretch and they have lost the flavor. Today’s lunch was so good and the sauce had a lot of flavor. Thank you thank you

Great food, service was great, very friendly staff, stop here from out of town, was very pleased with food and service,

I live down the block from Efren's and I used to think their food was really good until I tried La Coqueta. I haven't explored the whole menu yet, but so far the Chili Verde Burrito, the chili rellenos burrito, the enchiladas, torta, machaca are amazing. The staff is very friendly, especially Roger.
